Comfortbreak Thedistance from Hanoi to Halong bay is approximately 3 ½ hours 12noon approx ArriveHalong Bay. Welcome aboard The Paloma. Meet the captain andcrew and join usfor a welcome cocktail as we tell you about life onboard. Checkinto your cabin. Time to refresh and unwind. Setsail as lunch is prepared by our chef. Joinus for a relaxing lunch in the restaurant or on the outdoordining area. Enjoythe stunning views of the Bay, its dramatic limestone islandsas we sailthrough the calm waters. Afternoon Whilewe make our way to Bai Tu Long Bay, relax on the sundeck andwatch the world goby or take an afternoon nap in your cabin. Earlyafternoon we arrive at Cong Do Island with its many lagoonshome to numerousspecies of sea-life, such as shrimp, crab, fish, squid andaquatic plants whilesouth-west of the island has a preserved, almost undamagedcoral reef. We drop anchor. Opportunityto go swimming in the clear warm waters or teambuildinggame and go kayaking.Kayaking is suitable for all levels and ages. Our expertwill run through thesafety procedures and after a basic paddling lesson ourexperienced guide willlead you to explore the Bay, its lagoons and beaches. Forthose who prefer a relaxing afternoon, make the most ofsunbathing on deck orpamper yourself with a massage and sauna in our luxuriousspa. Early evening Backon board, enjoy the sunset with evening cocktails and freshfruit. Takean opportunity to refresh and then join friends for apre-dinner drink in thebar. Day 2: Halong Bay cruising (B, L, D) 06:30 Forthe early risers join us for a Tai Chi session on the sun deck.Tai chi helpsfocus the mind and condition the body and there is no betterenvironment topractice this than amongst the limestone peaks and islands. Takean opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay or have anearly morning swim Breakfast,coffee or tea is served. Afterbreakfast transfer from The Paloma to a smaller boat whichwill take you to oneof the remoter and secluded parts of the Bai Tu Long watersand islands. Ourguide will take you on a kayaking tour of the waters. There isno better way todiscover the lagoons, the coral reef, beaches and limestonepeaks. Orsunbathe on one of the secluded beaches, go swimming. Duringthe morning our chef and crew prepare a special BBQ lunch onthe private beach( depends on the weather) Afterlunch continue kayaking, sunbathing, swimming or fishing Orjoin one of our local guides who will take you on a tour of thelocal communityand the area. Day 3: Halong Bay- Hanoi (B, L) 06:30 Wakeup again to the sunrise Asecond morning’s Tai Chi session if you missed yesterday’s or ifyou want tocontinue with this great way to start the new day Ortake an early morning swim or have a lie in Breakfast,coffee or tea is served Weset sail again and head to Vong Vieng floating fishing village. Dropanchor. Ourguide will give you some information and interesting factsabout thisfascinating village and its local community. Disembarkand travel on the sampans rowed by the local people. Theywill be your guidesthrough their fishing village where you can meet the locals,visit the schooland pearl farms. See at first-hand what life is like living onthe water. Weare proud of our working partnership with, and support of, thiscommunity. Backon board we start to head back the harbor. 10:00am Taketime to refresh and relax before checking out. Bags can beleft in the luggagestore.
