amazed by the choice, when trekking in the forest filled with several
hundred kinds of orchids of brilliant colours and fantastic shapes,
such as Orchid Princess, Orchid of My Fair Lady''s Shoe. Some orchids
are named after lovely singing birds such as the canary, salangane''s
nest and more. |
Night 1 : Hanoi - Laocai
 20:00pm - Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Hanoi railwaystation for boarding the Express Train to Laocai. Overnight in anair-conditioned soft sleeper cabin (4pax/cabin or 2pax/cabin onrequest). Day 1 : Laocai -Sapa - TaVan: 5 hours trekking, 14 km, 3 villages. ( B/L/D )
6: 00 am - Arrive at Laocai train station. Welcome by your local guideand driver. Transfer to your hotel in Sapa for breakfast andrelaxation. Take a jeep ride into the valley. Cross Muong Hoa River tovisit 3 mountainside villages of the H''mong and Dzay peoples. Picniclunch en route. Dinner and home stay in TaVan village.
Day 2 : TaVan -BanHo 7 hours trekking, 18 km, 3 villages. ( B/L/D )
Havebreakfast and leave the family for the next village. Visit the Red Dzaoin Giang Ta Chai village by way of terraced paddy fields and bambooforests. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Silver Waterfall and RattanBridge. Cross the river and continue to BanHo village where the Taypeople reside. On the way, stop off to meet the Red Dzao and the BlackH''mong people in Supan village. Picnic lunch en route. Dinner and homestay with a Tay family in BanHo village.
Day 3 : BanHo -Sapa 3 hours trekking of 7 km and 23 km by jeep. ( B/L/D )
Breakfastwith the family, then leave the village to see a spectacular waterfalldiscovered by the French. Enjoy the view, go swimming in thecrystal-clear water and return to BanHo to visit the people in thevillage. Say goodbye to the family and return to the main road to takea jeep back to Sapa. Lunch and leave Sapa in the afternoon for Laocaiby bus. Take the night train to Hanoi and have dinner on the train.Arrive in Hanoi round 5:00.
