Night 1 (Saturday): Hanoi - Laocai

20h15 Pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi to HanoiRailway Station for the night train at at 21h15 to get to Laocai Station. Sleepon the train. (4 people/cabin or 2 people/cabin on request)

Day 1 (Sunday): Laochai Village- TaVan Village

(6 hours trekking,16 km, 3 villages)

Picked up at Laocai Railway station early in the morningby bus. Arrive at Sapa round 7h00. Breakfast and shower. Start from Sapa at10h00 by jeep and then get down to a valley, visit an H''mong village and thehydroelectric power station built by the French. Take a small path to go andvisit other 2 villages of the H''mong and the Dzay people (LaoChai and TaVanvillage). Stay in TaVan at a Dzay family. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner atthe family. Overnight at TaVan village.

Day 2 (Monday): Tavan Village- GiangTaChai Village - Sapa

(5 hours trekking,14 km, 2 villages)

Breakfast at the home-stay, take the road to GiangTaChaivillage to see the Red Dzao people via the paths through terraces and bambooforests. Visit a waterfall, a suspension bridge. Picnic lunch and cross theriver. Visit an H''mong village up to the mountain. Take a jeep back to Sapa.Visit the ancient stone circle on the way back. Check in hotel, dinner in Sapa.Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 (Tuesday): Sapa - CocLy Market - Hanoi

Breakfast at the hotel. Leave from Sapa early at 7h00 forCocLy market by jeep or bus, which is situated far from Sapa. Enjoy thepeaceful life of different minority peoples ( Flower H''mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Dzay). The market is the chance for the minoritiesto meet and share joy and sorrows after the crops, to exchange one another''sexperience. Say goodbye to the market and get down onto a boat along Chayriver. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high Rock Mountainsand to be surprised at white and breathtakingly waterfalls. Get off the boat tovisit a village of the Tay Minority ( TrungDo village) by the river. After theboat trip, visit a small town - BaoNhai and then take jeep back to LaocaiStation for the night train to Hanoi.Have dinner before getting on the night train. Arrive in Hanoi roughly 5h30. The end of tour.
