CucPhuong is home to an amazing diversity of flora and fauna. Inhabitantsof the park include 97 species of mammals, most notable endangeredlangurs; 300 species of birds; 36 reptilian species; 17 species ofamphibians; 11 species of fish; 2,000 species of vascular plants, andthousands of species of insects. A number of species in the park arelisted on Vietnam Red Book of endangered species. Primatesin the park include macaques, gibbon, Francois'' Leaf Monkey and slowloris. Other mammals including bats, porcupine, flying squirrel, smallstriped squirrel, belly-banded squirrel, and the rare Black GiantSquirrel. In the past the park was home to Asiatic Black Bears, wilddogs, and tiger, but over hunting and lack of prey have most led to theloss these species. Leopard, clouded leopard and jungle cat may stillbe present in the park.
 AM:Pick up at your hotel, depart to Cuc Phuong with stop ever on the wayfor taking photographs of Viet Nam peaceful country side. Arrive in CucPhuong. Visit Centre of endangered rescue where still appearingprecious animals, such as: white shorts monkeys, fruit eating ape, treedwelling, monkeys etc.,. Start trekking to discover the variety offauna and flora of the forest in fresh atmosphere in the forest. Havepicnic lunch on the way. PM: Visit Cho trees the huge ones would taketen arm length to contain their circumference and the Cave ofprehistoric man. Get on car back to Hanoi. Dinner at the localrestaurant.
